Glenn Hartman is a California-born keyboardist and accordionist who made his way to New Orleans and became one of the most in-demand multi-instrumentalists in the city's roots music community. His work spans Americana, R&B, soul, and everything in between — the kind of player whose contributions quietly define albums without drawing undue attention to themselves.

Hartman's strongest ongoing association is with the Iguanas, the New Orleans roots-rock band whose tex-mex and conjunto-inflected sound has been part of the city's fabric since 1989. His keyboard work with the band provides the harmonic foundation for their Latin-and-blues-steeped groove.

As a solo artist, Hartman has recorded a series of albums that showcase his command of the piano and organ in a New Orleans-rooted context. His work is understated, tasteful, and deeply informed by the city's tradition of keyboard excellence — from Professor Longhair through James Booker to the present.

He remains an active presence in the New Orleans music community, performing and recording with a wide range of artists and appearing regularly at the city's festivals and clubs.
