Big Frank & Lil Frank & the Dirty Old Men are a father-son R&B duo who have performed together in and around New Orleans since establishing themselves in 2010. Since then, the pair have built a following through performances in local clubs, gaining traction across the greater New Orleans area for a sound the duo themselves have compared to Johnnie Taylor — an edgy, fresh take on classic soul and R&B.
The duo's sound draws on a range of influences, including The O'Jays, Jeffrey Osborne, Michael Jackson, and Frankie Beverly & Maze, delivered with a livelier, contemporary edge that's earned comparisons to R&B's own celebrated father-son act, Eddie and the late Gerald Levert. Big Frank & Lil Frank continue to perform regularly around New Orleans, including appearances at French Quarter Festival.
