Biography
Glass took over the Absolute Monster Gentlemen drum chair from A.J. Hall around 2025; Cleary's press kit names him as the band's new drummer. Reviewing the band's 2025 Ronnie Scott's stand in London, UK Jazz News called him the heartbeat of the band — unshakeably relaxed, perfectly locked-in, never needing to show off to make a point.
A New Orleans-based drummer, vocalist, and bandleader, he leads Thomas Glass & The Smack City All-Stars, with regular gigs at Good Measure NOLA, and the Thomas Glass Trio, heard in French Quarter concerts. His credits as a sideman include Cleary, Jelly Joseph, Kenny Lattimore, and Donald Harrison.
