Lisa Mae O'Neill is a soulful writer and singer from New Orleans. She describes her music as 'sweet hoots and swamp hollers' — a blend of Americana, folk, country, and blues, 'the kind made on porches: acoustic instruments, voices drenched in harmony, pure tones cutting through, beautiful and honest and raw.'
The New Orleans native spent a decade in Tucson, Arizona, earning an MFA and teaching writing at the University of Arizona. She has since returned to the Crescent City and is making music around town and the region, playing rooms like the Blue Nile and The Domino.
O'Neill remains an active presence on the local songwriter circuit, appearing on club bills and songwriter showcases across the city.
