Singer-songwriter Gregg Hill makes his home in New Orleans — six albums deep, with the all-New Orleans Bayou St. John landing on the folk charts and a Bank St. Bar residency.

Biography
Gregg Hill is a New Orleans-based singer-songwriter, guitarist, and occasional pianist who has been writing songs since seventh grade and didn't, in his words, truly feel like a musician until he moved to the city about five years ago. His sixth record, Bayou St. John (Skippy Records, September 2023), was created entirely in New Orleans with producer Roland Guerin and guests including Guerin, Joy Clark, and Doug Belote; it rose to #11 on the FAI Folk Chart and made Americana Highways' favorite records of 2023.
His fourth album, Born Liar, featured Kenny Vaughan, Ron Block, Jeff Coffin, Shane Theriot, and Anders Osborne. He holds a standing springtime residency at The Bank St. Bar, curates the “Songs and Stories from the Crescent City” series with guests like Susan Cowsill, Andrew Duhon, Paul Sanchez, Alex McMurray, Johnny Sansone, and Mia Borders, and produces an annual benefit for the New Orleans Musicians' Clinic.
