Chloé Marie has been singing her whole life — choir in high school, church musicals at Chapel in the Oaks in Baton Rouge. After graduating in 2012 she fronted her own band from 2013, flip-flopping between bandleading, songwriting, and theater: Dreamgirls at New Venture, Hair at Theatre Baton Rouge in 2017, and a Kit Kat girl in Theatre Baton Rouge's 2018 Cabaret.
She relocated to New Orleans in 2020. After two pandemic-quiet years, she landed a job with the Victory Belles, the National WWII Museum's vocal trio, which eased her back into performing — and then took center stage as Sally Bowles in Rivertown Theaters' January 2022 production of Cabaret. "Something about actually being in the stage version versus watching the movie gave me a new appreciation for the show," she told OffBeat.
She performs regularly with pianist Harry Mayronne — at the Bombay Club, Buffa's Back Room, French Quarter Festival 2025, and the 2025 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival — singing jazz, swing, and American Songbook standards.
I was lucky enough to get a job with Victory Belles at the National World War II Museum. So I was eased back into the performing aspect.
