B. Cam & The Zydeco Young Bucks grew out of Mansfield, Louisiana's deep zydeco tradition, building a repertoire that reaches beyond the genre's accordion-and-rubboard core into blues, R&B, and funk. Fronted by vocalist and bandleader B. Cam, the group has spent more than twenty years touring festivals, clubs, and private events across Louisiana and Texas, earning a reputation for tight musicianship and a show built to keep dancers on the floor from the first downbeat.
The band's 2020 album Keep It Country showcased their range, pairing zydeco dancefloor staples like “Young Buck 2 Step” and “B Cam Zydeco” with genre-crossing tracks such as “Crazy Sex” and “Work It,” and they've continued releasing singles including “Let It Snow” (2021) and “Pressure” (2022). B. Cam & The Zydeco Young Bucks are regulars on the Louisiana festival circuit, including French Quarter Fest, sharing bills and influences with zydeco contemporaries like Keith Frank, Chris Ardoin, and Rusty Metoyer.
