Tucked into the Seventh Ward, The Crypt is a goth bar and music venue — a small, dark, and thoroughly atmospheric space built for artists, misfits, romantics, and revelers. Under new ownership by local creatives Destryur and JLH Illustration, the bar was relaunched with a grand opening party in March 2026 in the former home of The Goat.
Programming runs the gamut of the dark-music underground — goth, darkwave, industrial, punk, and synth-pop — with DJs and live bands.
