Biography
Lynn has toured as guitarist for MonoNeon (Prince's former bassist) and Ghost-Note, and toured with Ledisi. In May 2025 he joined Phish bassist Mike Gordon's band for Gordon's Jazz Fest-week show at the Joy Theater, alongside Bob Wagner, Robert Walter, and John Morgan Kimock.
Based in New Orleans, he leads the Xavier Lynn Funk Party, heard in late-night sets at the Blue Nile and tracked on WWOZ's Livewire, and sat in at Jazz Fest 2024's Purple Party Prince tribute. Cleary's press kit lists him on guitar in the expanded Absolute Monster Gentlemen lineup.
