Brass-Pulse Hip-Hop from Algiers

Kr3wcial is a hip-hop artist, producer, and sound engineer from Algiers in New Orleans. He released his first track in 2012 and has spent the years since writing verses about resilience, identity, and social consciousness — tracks often enlivened with the pulse of brass and the rhythm of New Orleans. He is also a community advocate, using his platform to push positive change in the city.

He performs solo and with the collective GLBL WRMNG, toured North America with the group, opened for Pell, and played a sold-out New Orleans show supporting Tank and the Bangas. Festival and marquee appearances include BUKU, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, the French Quarter Festival (the Jazz Museum Songwriter Stage with his band More Love), and Pelicans games. In 2023 he earned a residency at A Studio in the Woods, is an alumnus of the New Orleans Museum of Art Creative Cohort, and in 2024 toured France and Spain with Tracy de Sa.

In early 2022 he released the EP Less Than Three — featuring Mick Jenkins, Kalipop, BLÜ, and Pell — and in 2025 GLBL WRMNG dropped their single "Somebody." His music and visual work are on all platforms.
