Biography
Hex Windham is a New Orleans singer-songwriter who cut his teeth playing in punk bands in the city's dive bars and still plays them, alongside farmer's markets and outdoor festivals. His sets run on fingerpicking, bottleneck slide, and harmonica across acoustic Americana originals and traditionals sung in English and Louisiana French — and outside music he's a Jefferson Parish public school teacher.
He's released 15 records on Bandcamp, including the Sunroom Sessions album (2024) recorded by Alex V. Cook in Baton Rouge, and hosts open mic nights at the Old Arabi Lighthouse, where the venue calls him one of its favorite performers.
