EverMore Nest

New Orleans, LA — Active

Ever More Nest is the musical brainchild of Kelcy Wilburn (aka Kelcy Mae), a singer-songwriter from Shreveport who wound her way to New Orleans to forge a life as a creative artist. The folk/Americana-driven project — named from a poem by Mary Ann Samyn — blends the gospel, country, and blues of her north Louisiana home with the emotional rawness of the Cranberries and Tori Amos.

Alt-Country from a River Delta

Ever More Nest is the musical brainchild of Kelcy Wilburn (aka Kelcy Mae), a singer-songwriter from Shreveport who wound her way to New Orleans to forge a life as a creative artist. In addition to Wilburn's vocals and guitar, the band includes Lucy Cordts on banjo and mandolin, Dave DeCotiis and Michael Lentz on guitars, Rebecca Crenshaw on violin, Chris Nicotera on bass, and Alec Barnes and Adam Everett on drums.

The band's albums include Out Here Now — with standout cuts like the title track and 'Out Loud' — and their debut record The Place That You Call Home. The project has been featured by The Boot, Take Effect reviews, and WWOZ, and Wilburn has been part of the city's rising Americana and queer country scenes.

The band remains active and touring: Ever More Nest returned to Jazz Fest in April 2026 and French Quarter Fest in 2026, and the new single 'Mine to Love' was released September 25, 2026, with a circus-themed release party October 18, 2026 at the AllWays Lounge in New Orleans.
