William Berrios, better known as DJ FTK, was born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in New Orleans. Growing up he absorbed Latin music, hip-hop, and New Orleans culture, studying the distinct melodies, beats, and cadences of each until he could blend them on the turntables.
He has held residencies at several local clubs, including the Dragon's Den, The Saint, Favela Chic, and the Maison, and has guested at clubs, parties, and festivals including the 2025 French Quarter Festival. Recent sets include opening for Ohso City at Wave Your Flags at The Garden in May 2025 and a live house-party set recorded in Houston in April 2026.
He posts full recorded mixes regularly on his YouTube channel, and his site notes that some of his original edits and flips have carried his sound from New Orleans to New York, Texas, and Georgia.
