DJ 2Ready is a New Orleans-based DJ who fell in love with music as a kid and got his first taste of the performance side in 2009, working security for Solange Knowles through Saint Heron. Intrigued by the craft, he taught himself to blend and mix tracks, building a genre-hopping style aimed at keeping any crowd dancing.
He can be seen spinning across the city at festivals including the African American Film Festival, the Vegan Festival, and Poetry Fest, plus regular sets at night spots like The Hummingbird, Pressure, Ciao, and Pythian Market. He also runs 2Ready Entertainment, DJing weddings and private events with full sound and MC services.
Check his Thumbtack listing for current availability and reviews, or catch one of his regular club sets around town.
