Drummer and vocalist A.J. Hall held the drum chair in Jon Cleary's Absolute Monster Gentlemen from the mid-2010s through 2024.
Biography
Hall played drums and sang with the Absolute Monster Gentlemen between the tenures of Jeffrey 'Jellybean' Alexander and Thomas Glass. He's on the kit in the band's 2016 INNtöne Jazzfestival appearance in Austria, the 2017 Big Rivers Festival set, Cleary's April 2023 Funky N.O. R&B Revue at The Broadside, and the December 2023 KNKX studio session, where he's listed on drums and vocals.
Around 2025 Thomas Glass took over the drum chair; Cleary's press kit names Glass as the new drummer, replacing Hall.
